High Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip

This High Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy, flavor-packed appetizer made with blended full fat cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, ranch, and plenty of buffalo sauce for a spicy kick. It’s the perfect guilt free crowd pleaser, loaded with protein and topped with melted cheese for the ultimate game day or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken use a rotisserie chicken if desired
  • 3 Green Onions diced small
  • 1 cup Full Fat Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt plain
  • 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
  • 3/4 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • In a blender (or with an immersion blender) combine the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and ranch dressing. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
  • Combine the blended cottage cheese mixture with the shredded chicken, green onions, buffalo sauce, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, and the dried spices together in a bowl.
  • Once fully mixed, transfer it to a 8x8 ban or 9 inch round baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Baked the high protein buffalo chicken dip for 20-25 minutes or until the top is melted and the sides are bubbly. You can broil for 1-2 minutes if desired.
  • Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes before serving. Pair with crackers, tortilla chips, pita chips, and celery and carrots.

Notes

For extra protein, use grilled chicken breast, and if you prefer a spicier dip, add more buffalo sauce or a dash of cayenne pepper.
