1tbsp Honeyfor ganish

Diced Apples
Fresh Rosemary or Thyme
Pepper Jelly
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Cube the brie cheese into pieces and set aside.
Cut the top off of a large round loaf of sourdough bread. Remove the top and remove the inside bread to create a bread bowl.
Use a knife to lightly cut 1 inch slits down every 1-2 inches across the top edge of the bread bowl (see pictures in the article above).
Place about 1/3 cup of the fig spread into the bottom of the bread bowl and spread it evenly.
Add half of the brie cheese and another 1/3 cup of fig spread dolloped over the top. Pull back slightly along the cut edges to help fully stuff the bread bowl with the cheese.
Add the remaining brie cheese and then the remaining fig spread over the top again. Place it onto a baking sheet.
Lightly tent the bread bowl with foil and bake for 20-25 min. Remove the foil and continue to bake another 5-10 minutes or until the brie is melted and gooey.
Remove from the oven and plate with extra bread, apple slices, crackers, etc for serving. Drizzle some honey over the top and serve.
Notes
Use other spreads or preserves. Add fresh herbs or dried fruit as desired.
