A classic tried and true 3-2-1 method for smoking ribs for beginners and even for the seasoned pitmaster!

Start by removing the membrane, trim, and prep your ribs with your chosen dry rub.

Slowly smoked them on a 225 F. smoker. Spray every 30 minutes to keep the bark moist for 3 hours.

Wrap in foil with a mixture of BBQ sauce, BBQ dry rub, butter and any other add ins you desire. Wrap tightly!

After 2 hours (or so), unwrap and let them sit open for the last hour to tighten the bark back up.

Pro Tip- While 3-2-1 is a good timing guide, ribs are done when they are tender and hit a temp over 195 F.
