Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce is a simple, tangy, mustard based sauce that's perfect for grilled pork, chicken and other proteins. 

This recipe is made up of pantry staples and is simple to whip up in just a few minutes to pair with your favorite grilled meats. 

The base of this sauce is yellow mustard. It's accompanied by apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, spices, and garlic. 

Over low heat, combine the yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar and honey. Whisk to combine and do not let it boil. 

Season with a little ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, smoky paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix and adjust any spices if needed.

Let the mixture cook on low heat for 5 minutes and then remove it from the stove to cool to room temperature. Add a few dashes of Tabasco sauce if you'd like a slightly spicier version. 

Serve this sauce with classic smoked meats like pulled pork, pork loin, or ribs. It's also fantastic with chicken or can be used as a condiment on sandwiches and burgers.
