Cranberry, Brie, and Prosciutto Baguette
This open-faced creation begins with a fresh, crusty baguette, generously spread with tangy cranberry sauce, providing a sweet and tart contrast. On top of this, creamy, melted Brie cheese adds a luxurious richness, beautifully complementing the cranberry’s sharpness. The dish is crowned with crispy, thinly sliced prosciutto, offering a savory and salty crunch that contrasts exquisitely with the softness of the Brie and the fruitiness of the cranberry.

Supplies Needed:
- Baking Sheet
- Sharp Knife
Ingredients:
- Baguette: For ease, simply buy a large baguette at the store or a bakery!
- Brie Cheese: I used two wheels of brie cheese. There is no need to take the rind off of brie cheese, you can eat it!
- Cranberry Sauce: You can use canned or homemade. If using canned, I recommend using the one with chunks of cranberries in it!
- Prosciutto: Prosciutto adds a salty flavor and gets nice and crisp in the oven!
- Honey: A little drizzle of honey perfectly complements all of the flavors in this cranberry brie and prosciutto baguette recipe!
- Pomegranate Seeds: For garnish.
How To Make Cranberry Brie and Prosciutto Baguette:
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat the oven to 400 F. Place a piece of parchment paper onto a baking sheet.
- Cut Bread: Cut a large baguette lengthwise so you have two halves and lay them cut side up onto the baking sheet.
- Spread Cranberry Sauce: Place about 1/2 cup of cranberry spread (or any other fruit spread of your choice) across the top of the bread on each half.
- Add Cheese & Meat: Slice the wheel of brie into 1/4 inch thick strips and place them across the top of the cranberry sauce. Then add small torn pieces of prosciutto over the top of the brie.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 8 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to the broil setting and broil for 2 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy and the brie is melted.
- Remove & Garnish: Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before slicing into serveable pieces with a sharp knife. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a honey drizzle and serve.
How To Serve And Enjoy:
I think this cranberry brie and prosciutto baguette is the perfect appetizer to serve at your next holiday get together! If you have just a few people, this appetizer will be enough to go around. For larger parties, serve this with a larger spread of appetizers like mini smoked cheese balls, brie fondue dip, herby marcona almonds, and air fryer figs!
Tips & Variations:
- Serve warm! This cranberry and brie baguette is best served warm so that the brie is melty!
- Don’t have cranberry sauce on hand? You can use different fruit spreads here if you desire. Apple jam would be delicious, or you can try using any of your favorite jams!
- For a vegetarian version, simply skip the prosciutto!
- If you don’t love prosciutto, you can replace it with pre-cooked and crumbled or chopped bacon! place the bacon on top after it comes out of the oven while the brie is still hot.
